Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
With the holidays approaching I am looking for non-destructable chew toys (or toys to play with) for my mouthy doodle.
My doodle guy loves toys but they are destroyed within minutes and the squeakers and everything else in his tummy. I seem to be limited to an indestructable Kong which has been through 3 German shepherds and still remains in tact. He does like antlers and that has worked but even the other toys with ropes attached are shredded.
My last dog was an English Setter and he was so careful with his toys which he would carry around and he would even use the larger ones for a pillow.

they look like alot of fun and I love the bright colors.
Looks like I am going to have to place some more orders. Christmas has quite alot, but I will include his birthday too; he was born on Christmas Day!
I buy the HARD marrow bones, they last a year. When the marrow is gone,I put peanut butter inside them. My dogs drool when the peanut butter comes out of the cupboard. I also buy the big hard tennis balls. The small balls last about 8 minutes at our house. I can't buy anything soft and cute...
I guess my last dog was good with soft and cute and I keep hoping---
marrow bones sound good--I know how fast the tennis balls go and I'm afraid of swallowing parts--
Checking out Stanlee's toy basket this weekend I remembered one more toy that has lasted longer than most - it's a toy made from fire hose and inside is a water bottle that he likes to "crackle" and make noise with. It's also a great fetch toy as well.
My Buster destroys any toy he is given within minutes also! Even a large red Kong! I've started cutting up old tshirts and knotting them. That seems to occupy him for a while, and saves me a bunch!
