Louis does so well with me but when my daughter 13 comes home from school she is dying to see him but when she comes in he will bark at her then he'll play with her but in an aggressive way like he'll want to bite her is this normal. is there something she can do with him that will ease this up should she feed him one of his meals so he can appreciate her too?

Louis, what a cutie and GREAT taste in shoes
Good idea, Suzann, but HOW is the daughter playing with the dog I'm wondering? No tug-of-war, no wrestling, no encouraging the pup to jump. The pup may be getting confusing play signals from a teen who has never had a puppy.
Fetch is a good game right now. But other rough housing is not a good idea
I concur with the "excitement" idea. We have moved to a new neighborhood where our dog can watch people come and go from the windows inside or sitting inside the front gate. He is normally very quiet, even when people walk by or other neighborhood dogs are barking, but when any teenagers go by he goes NUTS with the barking. This happens even though they completely ignore him. He is picking up on their energy level, their animated conversation and walk and music, and wants to get out and play with them! He has been a dream to train--he's 4 now--but we can't get him past this one...yet.
The pictures and video you featured Joanne make me SMILE!
What a little fluff ball of cuteness!!! They are cute for a reason :)
thanks Judy and GBK and I agree thank god for cute it does make things easier!
PERFECT. And he is beautiful. I agree with GBK, thank goodness they are cute for a reason. Puppy hood is so challenging but worth every ounce of work you put into it
our first training session went well yesterday Louis responded really well to Dana my daughter. He did look and sit and he learned them fairly quick. we practiced again today and he did just as well. I told the trainer i have the best support group anyone can ask for (that's all of you). I feel more confident every day because of all of your great advice. so thanks.
