Hi everyone!! So recently with Jace being sick we have had a few training set backs... Specifically house breaking ones. When we first got him he was fully house trained and didn't ever have to go in the middle of the night and we didn't even have to crate him ( how lucky were we??) but since he got sick he has started using the bathroom like three times in the middle of the night and he hardly won't go in the day.. I don't mind him having to go, but it's extremely hard being up and down all night long! Part of me thinks this just might be him still trying to get better and once his bowels straighten out all will be well.. But I don't want this to become a permanent thing. Any tips??

It's not permanent. Yes, he really needs several weeks to settle those poor tummy problems. Wasn't it just a week ago, or less, you gave him worm meds?
Get up with him, be patient on the poor guy. He is probably feeling like you, wishing he could get some rest. At least he is telling you, he has urgency to go out now. See this as progress.
With routine, he will be back to normal in a short time.
Sadie went through the same thing! She was house trained from week one until at about 6 months she was getting me up all night! Once she accidentally went to the bathroom all over the kitchen in the middle of tge night the poor thing. After lots of wasted money on xrays, blood tests and medications - she has food allergies! No more gluten or corn and she is healthy and happy as ever!
