What a week it's been for our puppy!!! He's been to the vet twice and got worms on Saturday!! Shew! But anyways, Jace is starting to get better, no worms in his stool for now and we gave him Trinexa(I think that's how it's spelled) its heartworm meds, intestinal worm med, and flea med all in one,
For the flea issues. But! We still have diarrhea..:( I fed him chicken and rice with a little pumpkin in it for dinner tonight, and I'm going to do the same for breakfast... But does anyone know how long the diarrhea lasted with their puppies who had tapeworms?? I don't like him being sick.. :(

Trifexis. :)

I have noticed if I give the pumpkin before food it seems to do a better job.

I did noticed to that not all canned pumpkin was created equally. The looser the pumpkin was the less it seemed to work at firming everything up. I think it was farmers market organic pumpkin worked the best but I went and bough a ton of libbys canned pumpkin when it was on sale at thanks giving before I came to find out this fun fact.

poor baby.

My 8 month old LD has always been on a raw food diet. My breeder has always added a tablespoon or two of plain yogurt to their meals. It is very good for their digestion and any tummy etc. trouble. I add it to every meal. I have used white rice as well like you mentioned...Hope this helps..
