Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Happy, healthy new year to all. I see that I'm still here after going over the fiscal cliff and I will assume that you are too. How fortunate that we have photography to take our minds off politics. Can you believe we are entering our fourth year of assignments!
I think Before and After is a grand idea. It covers all bases including puppy and adult, self portraits--yeah right, landscapes spring to winter. And of course if you only have winter landscapes that's fine since as you know we are loosey goosey here. Have fun.

Very cute doodle! Love the garden.
Thanks Jean :)
Wow, what a beautiful garden and beautiful doodle!!! The puppy picture does not even look real, I love how he has kept his chocolate color too.
Thanks! Agree that his puppy picture looks like a toy/doll. Yes, even our breeder is surprised that he retained his dark colour even though he's almost 2 years old. He's our first doodle, so we didn't know that it was usual.
What a gorgeous coat....his coloring does seem lighter than as a puppy. It has really turned into a gorgeous, rich color.
Thanks Jane. Yes, his colour got lighter. There are strains of white fur in between dark chocolate ones.
Chewie was such a cute puppy and is a handsome adult. Your dad's garden is gorgeous!
Thank you Anne :)
Chewie looks so handsome in that beautiful garden! He has a gorgeous coat! Do you groom him?
Thanks Linda.
Nothing special in terms of grooming.I brush him (with Les Pooche brush, green one and comb) every 4-5 days. I trim his head and feet every few weeks. I bathe him every month or so. (Shampoo and conditioner)
For major haircut, I take him to the groomers every 2-3 months.
Now for something totally different from adorable doodles and their wonderful families!
This is a photoshop before and after self-portrait.
The original image was taken when I discovered my long lost point & shoot camera and took a photo of my mirror reflection to see if the camera still worked. The second image is the result of having fun experimenting with layering and filters in photoshop elements. I like myself in blue!
