We have a 9 week old goldendoodle that has been doing great with housetraining.  In the last week, she has had two accidents and both were similar in nature where she didn't actually squat or act as though she had to pee, but just got up and walked away from the puddle she made on the floor.  She sometimes will let us know when she has to go or we just take her out at intervals - after naps, feeding, play, etc).  We do not punish her, just take her out and tell her to potty after this happens.  Do you think this is just lack of bladder control and she doesn't know it is coming?  She had been out in the last hour (last night's accident) and no indications of needing to go out. Insight appreciated.

I would have some concerns that she might have a urinary tract infection, which are fairly common in female pups. If this continues I would bring her to the vet with a urine sample which you can try to catch with a ladle.

F - catching a puppy's pee with a ladle makes me think of Jane catching Stuart's poop on paper plates :)  Oh, the things we do for our doggies!!!

You got that right.

You could have her checked, but at that age she likely does not have control.  Sometimes we were taking Gavin out twice an hour, especially from just waking, play or eating/drinking.
