My Hospital Vist

Today was a VERY long day at my local hospital ER. I was waiting for my dad to get admitted.

At one point I walked out of his ER room to call and update my mother.

I headed up a hallway where no one seemed to be around, and it was quiet.

It was then that I turned around and was startled out of my wits by this training dummy laid out on a gurney.

She totally didn't look like she was having a good day at all ! I caught myself laughing out loud at her, and I decided my day definitely wasn't going as bad as hers !! LOL

Oh my doodle!  How hilarious.

A restaurant/deli in town used to have a bathtub in the their bathroom.  AND in the bathtub was a dummy taking a bath.  Scared me so bad when I opened the door and thought I'd walked in on someone having a bath...YIKES!

Karen, thanks for thinking of him. He has a UTI, and on an 84 year old, well, lets just say it's much like being in an episode of the Twilight Zone ! LOL

Twilight Zone, indeed.  My mom's in an assisted living facility and when a resident starts acting odd(er), they immediately test for a UTI.

Thanks Laurie, my dad will be good after a night of antibiotics and medical supervision.

The dummy though, I'm not to sure of. I think someone let go of the thermometer !!

I think that was me while I was getting a colonoscopy done, at least I'm pretty sure it's the same look I had on my face. :>))
