Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Before

I had snipped the hair around his eyes so he could see. Check out the lump of mat on his back legs. He must have been so miserable!

AFTER

Considering that all those mats were attached to his skin and he needed to be shaved she left some hair so he is not shaved to the skin. I think he looks fantastic but how could he not!!

She was even able to give him doodle feet

I can't believe she was able to keep that gorgeous beard!! I love this groomer!! Petsmart but not sure which one!! I guess she decided to listen to me and scissor cut his head - YEAH!!!

He is chewing an a Kong ball. He must have been kept as the breeder male that they showed potential families as 'the father' so he is well socialized with kids, other dogs and walks beautifully on a leash.

We ended up here because of the aforementioned, now gone, comment! I was expecting to see Truman's new furever home. Sadly, that was not the case. :<(

He never got placed since September?

I have no idea, that's why I was eager to check. I guess we could check with Adrianne.

Oh no, Truman was placed. Donna means that we came here because there was new activity, this comment that is now gone, and we thought there must have been some update on Truman. There wasn't, just an ad mention of some website, but he was placed a while ago.

Well, that's good at least.

Yep, I think he was adopted by his foster family, but I might be wrong.

Also so odd how this person joined the site and immediately came here to this 4 month old inactive discussion posted by a DRC director to post a link to their so-called "rescue" website and do a little promoting.

Here's the original post, it was still in my email:

Labradoodle Rescue replied to Adrianne Matzkin's discussion "As Promised, here
are pictures of Truman" on DoodleKisses.com

That's a
beautiful dog and a nice grooming job. We found our labradoodle through a rescue
group that was listed on this site called labradoodle-rescue-site.com (http://labradoodle-rescue-site.com/)

------------

Tthat's their screen name, "Labradoodle Rescue"

Since the comment and the link were made unavailable, I thought I'd just add it myself. :>)

Apparently, Elvis has left the building. Gone baby gone.

Don't let the dog bite you on the butt on your way out
