Has anyone's doodle displayed similar behavior?

In the last year, our goldendoodle has had occasional episodes where he continuously gulps/swallows hard (almost looks like he is hiccuping). This will keep him (and us) up all night and usually lasts about 24 hours. We have taken him to the vet and they have done some testing with no clear diagnosis. Leaning towards acid reflux but wondering if anyone else's doodle has ever done anything similar?

Hi, Welcome to Doodle Kisses.  It may be something he is allergic to. Does it happen around the same time of year? A flower or something from a tree? Or a new kind of food or treat?  This good be a mild form of allergic reaction.  The next time it happens you might try giving him some benedryl. Ask your veterinarian for the recommended dosage.
