Coat predictions

This little guy is a yet to be named F1 Goldendoodle that is coming home in a couple weeks. He is 6 weeks old in the picture. Any predictions for coat type?

Sean, does your breeder not know what coat type he is?  He is adorable.

Breeder guesses wavy, with some curl dependent on length. Probably less shedding than a golden, chance of very little shed.

I was going to guess wavy too - many wavy dogs do shed though.

I'll go with perfect too =)  Though I won't guess about shedding, I think he'll be pretty doodley with a lovely coat!

Thank you for the compliments. We are really excited. I grew up always having Labs, but have impatiently waited for 6 years of college, getting my career going, and buying a place with a big yard before looking for this little guy. Only a few more weeks!

I have an F1 labradoodle, so I wont be much help.  But their hair at puppyhood is totally different than their hair at adulthood.  He looks like he will grow a nice medium length coat, and he is doggone cute!
