Looking to buy a very curly and adorable goldendoodle for the family pet and its been hard to find one of good quality. Any website suggestions??

Tamela, breeder recommendations are not permitted here in the forum.  People can leave a comment on your page or they can send you a private  message.

Regarding a very curly coat, your best bet would be an F1B. This is a puppy who has one parent that is a purebred poodle, and one parent who is a goldendoodle. A good, experienced breeder should be able to tell which puppies will have curlier coats.

Most important, please read What to Look for in a Breeder. This is really the  minimum that you should require from any breeder you consider. Pay particular  attention to the information about the health warranty and contract. If anyone  doesn't measure up to these guidelines, look elsewhere. The article also has  links to the Owner Recommended Breeders Group and other website resources for finding a  healthy puppy from a reputable source.

Welcome to DK.   Good luck on your search.  May I ask why a Curly Doodle?  Don't get me wrong, I love curly and I have a super curly boy.  So many come here wanting NO curls, just shag.  And curly doodles are extremely difficult to groom.  They end up being cut down to an inch most of the time  :(

The reason I ask is that so many think, curly means no allergy, which is not exactly correct.

Also, some of the curly doodles look just like Poodles, which may be an option for you also.

I was going to say the same thing.  An F1b would be your best choice for a curly coat.  That would be a goldendoodle bred back to a poodle.  I have an F1b goldendoodle and he has the most marvelous coat - very easy to groom and does not mat or shed.

Our family has two f1bs mine is shaggy and my moms is very curly!!!!! You won't know till they are born and even then. My moms puppy didn't look curly at all. My moms dog is so curly she can't have any length at all to her hair.....my guy is very shaggy!
