A while back we had a discussion about cloning and it is being done in Korea.  As great as our doodles can be, who would want to clone their dog?  But breeding and genetics are so interesting.  Would you consider cloning a special dog?

Cloning raises so many ethical issues, not the least of which are related to the health problems experienced thus far by cloned animals.  So my answer is no.

Absolutely not, Daisy is one of a kind and two would be overkill!

Maybe we should just find the most responsible doodle breeder there is and clone them!

I think this story answers the question pretty definitively, for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Obzfz4xEpgY

It's about a farmer who cloned his favorite bull with disastrous results.

All "No"s.  Just wondered.  Liked that video about the brahma bull.  Yes, there are many moral and ethical questions about cloning, but interesting that some people wanted to clone a very special dog.  Actually hasn't been that successful.  But there are some dogs that are special "heartdogs" that you might be enticed to duplicate if it were possible.
