Fun with Corel Paint

I just got myself a corel paint and Intous tablet. It is so much fun learning and playing!

I thought may be we can share some ideas?

I did Charlie today, and changed the surface texture! what a difference.

 It is such a fun tool ( toy?), and I have hard time not playing with it!!! hahaha. I have been staying up so late, and tired at work!

It is the Corel Painter 12. Today, I have no idea what I did, but the image kept on tilting, and brush stroke was being made when the pen did not touch the tablet, just hubbering over... Sigh.... I have a lot to learn.... When you watch the youtube tutorials of various kinds, it looks like " Oh, yeah. I can do that." But it is confusing!! LOL....

Have you calibrated the tablet to match your monitor and customized the buttons? Also you can change the sensitivity on the pen. It's a lot to figure out! I'll be happy to Skype with you and help you get it set it up. :)

Love it.  Thanks for sharing.  I also got the Wacom tablet and Corel Painter 12.  They are sitting and waiting to be hooked up to our new computer.  I have been taking a digital art class, but still feel incompetent.  Can't wait to really get started.
