Well, this is my first try. It is only half done. The assignment was to take three photos and combine them using Adobe Photoshop. Then we needed to close out Adobe and open in Corel Painter and make a clone and paint the photo we made in Adobe using the clone. I got the photo done, but still have to do the painting. I'm really going nuts because saving and moving between different programs if not a easy thing for me to do. And this was a photoshop file but I changed it to jpg to post here.
Accepting comments, of course. This is my all-time favorite dog (as many of your know) and he has passed over the Rainbow Bridge. So, my favorite dog and our favorite place. My heart is definitely in it.
You're doing it! Hooray! I love how you put him in the clouds. And it's only half done? I am looking sooo forward to seeing the finished piece! :)
Well we are on break next week and I do not have Corel Painter installed on my computer here at home so I guess it will be a little while. My next class is a week from Tuesday. I had the photo of his face which is one of my favorites so I thought putting it in the clouds was some kind of statement about him being in doggie heaven looking down on his favorite place.
Next week, after the final. I am nervous about trying to change the extensions before the class is finished. Final project includes all of our work and it is made into a movie. It is pretty cool, but mine is very basic compared to some of the projects coming out of this class. My favorite is the one of the Lorax as a little cartoon character walking across the screen, telling the story of the Lorax. And Pinocchio is super walking across the street to a shop. Jessica Rabbit walks across a stage. And all of these characters are included in the final project movies. I just love this class.
Oh, I already love it. You are so lucky to be taking a class on all this stuff. I have no idea how you put Hondo's head in the clouds and made it so subtle. You might need to write up a manual of what you are learning. I'll be curious to see what you do with the painting.
Just beautiful Lynda. Great job !
I saw your post and decided to join the Art Group. I love what you created!
This is going to be a wonderful picture when you are done. I am so glad I was lucky enough to meet Hondo your Heart Dog! This will be a great memory for you to hang on a wall. Love it!
Yes, I think I will print it up on canvas for an anniversary present to myself. It is my first painting (my retirement dream) and also our 35th wedding anniversary on April 1. I probably won't have it done by then, but close. We were out celebrating with our friends tonight in Carmel. We all were born in 1946 (year of the dog), graduated from H.S. in 1964 and married within two weeks of each other in 1978. Pat and Lynn were married on St. Patrick's Day and we were married on April Fools' Day. We were all silly back then but made it through 35 years. We had dinner at a great little restaurant in Carmel and then went to the 1964 Tribute to the Beatles. We all loved it.
OH here you are. I found your real discussion. I was so confused on the main page. I get it all now.
Very nice, Lynda. Creative.
