What are good Mini Goldendoodle boy names?

We are getting a little boy F1b Mini Goldendoodle. We need help naming him. We will get him the first weekend in April. We have a mini F2 Goldendoodle and her name is Ava. The names don't need to match.

We had gotten a tiny f1b mini Goldendoodle female but later that night the breeder said her daughter was devastated, so we gave her back.

Max, Chester, Bentley, Bronson, Charlie, Jake.  We weren't sure if we were getting a male or female at first so we compiled a list of both names.  These were our top male names.  Good luck - the naming part is fun.  :)

It's like picking a baby's name.  :)   Once you are set on a name - it will just feel right.  We haven't gotten our puppy yet but have a few pictures a videos from the breeder - and whenever we watch the video or look at he pictures, we say 'there's Sophie'.

We have 12 days.  It has been a countdown since the day she was born.  Yes, I wanted a female and then a few of our friends said we should get a boy because they are more loving of everyone in the family and that females pick favorites.  However, I grew up with females and they loved everyone.  I just think it's a matter of preference and either will be fine.

We chose the biggest of the litter although that was not our intention.  I guess we will find out how 'mini' she ends up being.  Regardless, we will be happy with her.  

We actually had more luck coming up with cute boy names than girl names, but once we thought of Sophie, we knew that was it.

Thanks!  We are very excited.  This will be our first family dog.  It's just funny that we chose a girl thinking she'd be smaller than a male, and yet the one we chose end up being the biggest of the litter (not just of the females, but of the males).  LOL

I'm sure your son is excited.  :)  Getting a puppy is so exciting.

Her mother is a 55 lb golden retriever and her father is a 15 lb miniature poodle, Choosing is difficult.  We had two to chose from - we kept going back and forth and back and forth. Then, the breeder sent us a few videos and we chose the puppy that appeared to be more active and curious.  Let's hope that philosophy of choosing her was good.  At 2am, we might wish we chose the less active and less curious puppy.  LOL

The breeder said we couldn't go wrong with either one of them - so we chose the 'blonde' girl.  She was lightest in color as well as the biggest of the litter.

I figure you can't go wrong with any of them!

I asked my family and friends to help me think of a name for my puppy.  They came up with lots of good names, but I only knew what name I would pick during my puppy's first day home.  Enjoy this special time in your life!

Yes, either will be cute.  They sound so different. I'm always amazed that puppies in the same litter can look so different.  Some in Sophie's litter have curly hair and some are quite a bit more golden than her.  Her father is a white poodle and she definitely got his coloring.  We are guessing she is creme and will probably get white with age, but we don't know for sure.  This will be our first dog as well as our first doodle.

You will have to post a picture once you get your puppy.  I'll be curious whether you get super light or red curly boy. I just think all puppies are so cute!  And, yes you will fall in love with whichever one is meant for you.

Thought of two more names on our list --- Henry and Russell (we loved the little boy in the movie "Up").

I have "2" Goldendoodles. Ellie my female is definitely a one or two person pup, where my male Oliver is the Biggest cuddle bug with everyone in the family!!! The only thing better than one "DOODLE" is two. ENJOY!!!

PS- some boys names on our list were Hudson, Elliott, Logan, Sully, I did want a name that sounded well with Ellie. A friend of mine says you have to call it out loud, like your calling them in from outside and it does work!!! Good Luck~

I liked Hudson until I did the name call.....it didn't flow for me with Ellie!!!! LOL
