Brisby is an adorable 6-month old puppy. He was shaved before entering rescue so he does not look much like a pup, but he still has soft puppy fur! We suspect he might be a Miniature Poodle/English Cocker Spaniel mix. Whatever his mix is he only weighs 14 pounds now and will probably grow up to weigh around 20-25 pounds. He is small enough to be a lap dog while still sturdy.

He lived his first few months in a hording situation down south. Because of this he gets along great with other dogs, and would actually prefer a home with another doggy companion. Overall, he is a pretty mellow puppy. He is not much of a barker. He stays patiently in his doggy bed while his foster family eats meals & crates well at night. He is doing well wth his pottytraining and has learned basic commands: sit, down & shake.

He does well with children and is never mouthy. He also loves kitties, although he would like his foster cat better if she would just play with him & stop being so crabby! Brisby is just such a loving boy he thinks everyone should be his friend! He would love to meet you and be your best friend!

Brisby is neutered, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped. Adoption fee is 250.00

Please keep in mind that application approval is possible only if:

1. You are at least 21 years old.

2. Your current pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested annually, and on monthly heartworm preventive. (We check vet references.)

3. You are willing to have a home visit prior to adoption, and follow up as needed.

4. You own your home. We may make a rare exception for renters who can show a positive and stable rental history, provide written landlord approval, and have an outstanding veterinary reference for current and/or past pets.

All questions must be answered. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

what a sweet face....Have you posted him in the Midwest group? I have crossposted his info to another forum....if there is anyway I could help let me know I just could not foster. I have four already and there are village rules, I am an hour south of Milwaukee
