Another Spring Day!!

Well, we woke up to snow today. Vern had me up in the middle of the night and not one drop of snow, but somewhere after his potty break, down it came. Not enough to get the humans that work off work, but enough for two Doodles to have fun in, once they wake up. I guess when you are up in the middle of the night, you have to make up for your beauty rest during the day. Meanwhile, I saw this on Facebook this morning and thought it was funny, especially in light of the DK gremlins we have been living with recently. Oh, and if it is any consolation, I think I saw Punxsutawney Phil dead along side of a back road near the state park yesterday. Some angry motorists in mittens, scarves, and winter coats were standing next to him shouting, "Next year, Punxsutawney Possum will be calling the shots!"  Happy Spring!

We had some snow here yesterday, but it didn't stick, happily. Bitter cold and grey today, though, with a "real feel" temperature of 23 degrees. I knew I was a fool to buy a new Spring coat this year. We're apparently only having our usual two seasons in Chicago this year: Winter and August.

The installation has failed here too! I just went out for a walk with the boys and it's arctic conditions. I have the heating on full blast and the fire lighting plus I'm wearing several layers  : )

I layered up today, too. Now, it is almost raining. I just want to see the sun once this week :) Is that too much to ask??

Here is the latest from this morning.  If they pardon the groundhog because it was the handler's mistake then the handler should be fired, lol!
