Kyoko's trials
I have been watching tutorials on youtube, and attempting to follow directions and do what they do to learn different techniques until I develop my own.... I will post different trials as I experiment....

I watched Helen Yancy's tutorial and follow the steps and tried out. I would like it to be more brushy and creative, but this is a start, I think... This is my older daughter Romana.

Thank you very much, F. It feels like watching the cooking tutorials and cooking along with the video. LOL
But Youtbe is very helpful since I have no idea what I am doing. Eventually, I will not need the measuring spoons and stuff, and I can add my flavor to it :-)

I eliminated the background with photoshop, and painted with Corel. When I took off the background, it became solid black, and looked like Butter was in outer space...:-) So, I made him rest on the top of the world!!

What is the size and resolution of the image you're working with?
Aha - never mind - I can see that it's 4416 x 3312 pixels. :)

I have no clue!!! hahaha!! The original picture said 500K or something like that. But I am really illiterate about computer and pixels and stuff, and have not learned all of that as of yet. What I know so far is the less of the number is less of pixel, therefore if you blow up the picture, it become blurrly and not so good looking. So, I have to resize it to make sure it can look nice enlarged. But I dont know how or how big or anything like that yet. I am sure I will be soon asking you on your Q&A !!! LOL I think this picture is big enough so probably need more details than whay I have here right now...
