Farewell Dear Puppy Madness

When Rooney turned 2 last year I wasn't sad - I knew that I had another year of Puppy Madness with Stuart - well - the time has come to say good-bye - Stuart is 2 yrs old today!

I'll most likely still be here - lurking!!! LOL

Stuart is such a handsome Doodle. It has been so much fun to share these past two years....I remember when you went to pick him up...and the dreaded "paper plates". You've done such a great job with this guy, Jane.

Ahhh yes - the dreaded paper plates, the lack of bonding due to the horrific odor coming out of his body. And then BAM - I fell in love and the rest is history. I LOVE both my boys - both are special in different ways. Stuart is my big ol goofy oaf - with the never ending energy and the protectiveness of a LION. I fear that we cannot correct that. But he is mine and I love him beyond words!!!

No way ... That just doesn't seem possible! I remember making this post about Lucy and Sophie. It was so sad not being able to think of them as puppies any longer. Stuart is one beautiful doodle! If I were to "catalog shop" as Laurie called it, this is what I would explain (except for that shedding and allergic to bees part). Happy Birthday handsome boy!

The (except for that shedding and allergic to bees part) really gave me a laugh! I do think it is so important for not just those that rescue doodles but also that purchase their doodle babies - to realize that they don't always come "perfect" and we have to be willing to accept and deal with - what may come!!!
