People always say Awwwww and smile

Have you ever noticed that when you tell people that you have a doodle, they always (99% of the time) say aww and smile?  Then they say "they are sooo cute".

Yes they do:)  The are definitely an attention getter!  Sometimes I feel awkward though because when I am with my friend who does not have a Doodle, nothing is said about her dog and it makes me uncomfortable!  A lot of the time I say back, "all dogs are adorable"!

OMD Suzanne, that is soooo true!  When we walk Libby in our neighborhood people come out of their houses to ask about her and visit with us.  These are neighbors we have never met!  When we take her to a shopping area, park, or school shw draws a crowd.

When I took Sadie for walks when she was a puppy, we literally stopped traffic as people would stop their cars to ask me what kind of dog she was and tell me how cute she was. We still get lots of complements and attention now that she's grown, but not like that!

When I walk my "Two" people ALWAYS drive by slowly to look and a lot of the time to stop and inquire about them. It's ALWAYS are they Goldendoodles???? I want one SO BAD.....LOL

When I tell people Luna is a goldendoodle they are confused :p  Usually they say something about how pretty she is though it's ok!  The first comment when they pet her is always "WOW she's so soft!".  Luna still feels like she has a puppy coat :)

I have watched cars drive by and do u-turns only to come back to me and ask me what kind of dog she is.  But earlier this week someone asked me what kind of dog she was and when I told him he said, "and someone breeds that on purpose?"  Looks like we have a new potty spot (j/k).

You are so right, they are certainly attention getters...My son says he wishes we would dhave had one years ago, when he was single, what a girl catcher, lol, but yes they are so darn cute, so people always say that...Not that there aren't other wonderful breeds out there, cute and all, but aren't we all glad that we have these wonderful doodles, and lucky too to be their families....

When I got divorced a long time ago, I had a golden retriever puppy and would walk her on the beach, met some very nice men. I told my single friends I would rent them my puppy and a fishing pole. Sure fire attention getters.

i have the same thing happen when katy & myself are in the truck,people will wave at her at a light & ask about her of course she is a 1.5 year old goldendoodle,hard to get out of the house without her loves to ride

Our doodles more often attract attention.  However, we have English Springer Spaniel admirers who ignore the doodles and go straight for our Springer.  They do NOT say Awwwww though about the Springer.
