Magic disappearing toys

On a whim yesterday I picked up a tube of bubbles like my kids played with when they were little.  This morning I took them out in the yard with Meg.  She was delighted when the air was filled with those mysterious transparent balls...imagine her dismay when each time she though she caught one it disappeared as it touched her nose.  She made some great leaps to catch them but all the effort didn't'[t pay off and she would come running back for more!  I so love having a playmate.

Bubbles.... they aren't just for little kids anymore ! ha-ha  Love it, might just go out today and look for some to blow for Finnley. Thanks for sharing the idea Judy !

Just a small warning here ... When Lucy and Sophie were young this is how I used to entertain them.  Sophie would chase them for hours, leaping into the air to catch them or run across the yard chasing them.  Lucy was like, yeah, whatever.  However, one day Sophie jumped up in the air after one and then landed funny and came up on three legs.  Another trip to the Vet.  Fortunately it was just a sprain, and some rest got her back to new.  But it was the 2nd leg injury for her so I put the bubbles up and never used them again.  You could possibly just try blowing them low so that she doesn't jump up after them.

Absolutely correct about putting those bubbles too high...I realized that while we were playing and corrected it (I worry about those slender little bones in her legs), I should have mentioned that myself.

Joanne, thank you, I love talking about her and all the people in my "real" world just don't get the uniqueness of the Doodle' personality.  Love her so much
