so i haven't posted anything in a while(kinda got hung up with the fun times i've been having with Tobi lol) but thought i'd just share with yall how things have been on my end here :)

Tobi's been awesome and is pretty much the best thing to happen to me in a long long time :D when yall said that they grow up fast you really weren't kidding haha... everyday it seems like he's just growing so quickly but it's ok i love it :D his basic command training is also going great... his sit (imo) is down to the tee; we've practiced it in 5 different rooms, the backyard, front yard, and the yard at my church... his down is coming along pretty good as well and as far as his stay i'm up to 10 ft away for 10 sec or walking around him 1 1/2 times...

i gotta admit though, i did have a minor setback with his feeding when he was 9 wks... my mom decided that it would be ok to feed him some leftover beef while i was at work and it took almost an entire week for Tobi to realize he wasn't getting anymore of it... kinda felt bad saying no to that sad puppy face though when i was getting him back on his kibble lol...

i took him to a puppy training class a couple days ago so he could socialize with other pups in a controlled area... he was shy at first but after watching the other pups for like 15 min he was with them and playing around :D though i gotta admit, he takes to people alot quicker than he does to other pups... a few of my friends were over the other day and he was all over them like white on rice just wanting to play tug or chase or fetch or whatever anyone would play with him haha...

sleeping wise i think he's doing awesome... starting last week he started to sleep through the night without waking up once to go to the bathroom o.o it shocked me because after the first week with him i was used to waking up at 3am and so at 9 wks my body just naturally woke up and i saw him sleeping... i stayed awake through the night just incase he was to wake up but he didn't wake until 7 and there he was ready to go out to the yard to do his business haha... hopefully during this week he doesn't regress back to waking back up at 3 since well i'd much prefer if he didn't haha...

Wow, it sounds like Tobi is doing great and so are you:)  I can't blame Tobi for not wanting kibble after the delicious treat your Mom gave him! LOL  Keep up the good work Caleb!

So happy to hear that you're enjoying Tobi! My Roger is a people person too... Well and a dog person. He gets play dates with his "cousins" (my daughter's dogs at her father's house) which was great for me becaus I was so worried about exposing him to other dogs before he had all of his shots!

Aw you guys sound like you are doing GREAT!!!  Every time i take my dogs to my parents house or they come over, they try to feed them people food!  I have to yell at them!!!  HAHA but I'm sure you are nicer to your mom  :)
