Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I'm trying to figure out what our F1B mini will look like as an adult. I believe she will have a loose wavy coat, and her muzzle is more slender than the usual doodle snout. She also does not currently have the usual uniform fur growth on her muzzle. There is longer growth closer to her eyes and less towards her nose. Will this fill in?? First photo below is her at 5 weeks and the second one is now (13 weeks).

She is a total sweetheart, like a little cuddly ragamuffin. Her name is Nutmeg.
Very cute. I think she's going to look like a doodle! Look at mine, I'm thinking he's going to look more like a retriever. :( But he is the smartest and sweetest pup so far and only 10 weeks old! His name is Rigby.
Nutmeg definitely has more fluff going on than Rigby, and Rigby does not have the longer wispy hair around the eyes. But they both seem to lean toward the retriever look. We didn't want a curly doodle, which is why we chose a puppy with a straighter coat. I was surprised to see how slender her muzzle was though when we got her. I think Rigby is adorable!
Lynne, I think Nutmeg will look like my Wilson. Wilson is an ALD with a wavy fleece coat. Here are pics of him at 5 weeks, 13 weeks and a year and a half. When he is wet he has a very narrow snout, it is the fluff that looks it look bigger.
Stephanie, Rigby's body hair looks exactly like Wilson did but I do think you would see the little hairs around his eyes and muzzle by now but maybe not. Is Rigby a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle?
Rigby is an F2b Golden doodle. His father was a double doodle, so he has a little lab in him. Rigby's coat is a little shaggy, on his face he has nice eye lashes, and above his eyes he has longer hairs like a horse gets above their eyes and below them. But not fluff. You can kind of see it in this picture, that is sideways.. :P lol.
I wonder if my Opie will end up looking like Wilson too, with the exception of the nose pigment! He just turned 10 weeks old and is a Labradoodle (with a Labradoodle mother and Labradoodle father).
I agree with Ronna, Murphy, & Wilson.... I think she will look like Wilson... That's what I was hoping for too!!! :) LOL. But we love out Rigby anyway. He's supposed to be my hubby's dog anyway. :) He's just what my hubby wanted, that's all that matters. We didn't want curly either we wanted wavy.
His mom was a Golden doodle(F1b?) She is very curly. The father is a double doodle. I only know a few that have the same father and different mothers. So they told me Rigby is an F2b or multi generation doodle.
