Harper is 4 months and we get more questions about what breed she is every day, people are convinced she's a springer spaniel! She's an F1B goldendoodle, and the poodle was a "Parti" poodle, but Harper was what the breeder described as an "open face" doodle. We're just trying to figure out what the heck she's going to look like! The hair on her back is longer and curly, but the sides are short, and her face shows no signs of getting long at all! We still think she's adorable though, even if no-one believes she's a doodle! Anyone else have a guess what she might look like, any other people who don't think anyone believes them when they tell people they have a doodle?!

Our mattie (if you look at her pic) is only seen as a retiever.! They see no poodle in her......but their not here when she is getting a bath or is wet!!! lolol....Her hair curls up like crazy!....She sheds all yr long and alot but I dont care i willingly pick it up as I have NEVER had a dog as bright, quick and loving!!! she is 9 and Iam hoping she lives forever;-))))) I think most doodles look very different!.........The breeder also said she wouldnt weigh much....she weighs 70 lbs!!!!........The 1st yr everything about her changed!.......I think doodles are a mystery!! lol.........Just love yours;-)))))) Elaine

I really thought Willow would have an "open face". Maybe I didn't really know what to look for in budding facial furnishings though, but she just had a retriever face to me. No long hairs or anything. She didn't really start developing this crazy facial hair until about 6 months old. She is now 8 months old and her face looks like this...

She is a F1 goldendoodle, and her coat has been very sloooow to develop. I don't know what this crazy face will end up looking like! But it's been fun watching her grow and change!

I found a pic of her at 3 months too!
