Wow Jarka! Those are huge! It's like a low couch!
I mean like a human sized couch
Can you please tell me where did you get the bed ?I I'm looking for buying the same size for my doodle.
Thanks
I have been eying the LLBEAN beds. http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/134 you have options for stuffing.. They aren't cheap but they are nice.
If you have a power chewer and you want an indestructible bed- DURA CRATE and DURA BEDS are the way to go! I have the one made specifically made for crates. WONDERFUL! But if you aren't using a crate they have other products as well.
TJ Maxx (Home Goods, Marshalls) has some awesome dog beds.
Mmmm - We have several dogs - all sweet and wonderful, of course! However - one of them LOVES to destroy things. Interesting that he is the sweetest and most loving of all - but give him access to a toy, dog bed or anything else and he will destroy it. It is his biggest pleasure to bite and pull until he tears a hole in it then to rip out the stuffing and throw it all over the room. He is always SO proud of himself. The really bad thing to this is that we can't provide toys to the other dogs because Tango will make short order of them.We finally found some canvas covered crate beds with dura-tuff covering that so far (about 3 weeks now) he hasn't chewed a hole in. About the only toys that we can provide are tennis balls, and nylabones.
We do have one large bed similar to the one in your picture and I made a slipcover for it like a pillowcase because my little guys love to sleep under the cover.
I hear you - we just had to perform a eulogy for bed number 3..... at least it lasted a few months, but in her boredom post spay she had to chew it up. sigh.....
Marshalls has gobs at great prices - frankly depending on the size of dog a bed pillow can work, but I think our girl will love a bolster bed eventually. We were at a local hardware/feed store and saw some that were touted 'chew proof' but I can assure you there is an old dog bed buried in my garden that was chewed to a faretheewell by a foster dog - I would still give it a go.
Funny thing though, in her crate she has never chewed one bit of bedding.
This may sound silly but it works for us. Max is a big boy so when my twin boys out grew there cribs I made a dog bed out of the crib mattress. I like the fact that I can clean it down with bleach once in a while and the fitted sheets can be thrown in the wash so you don't get that doggy smell. I also cut in half and sewed together 2 slip covers made of a twin comforter that I can rotate in the laundry and looks good with the room décor so it isn't such an eye sore. Anyway, much more comfortable then your average dog beds, cleanable, and will last! Oh, and Cheap because I already had it! haha
