Hi Katie, you will love it here. I am a retired teacher, but substitute (when I feel like it) and teach a gardening class for home schooled students. We do Square Foot Gardening (SFG) which teaches the kids not to waste seeds, water, or soil. After each session, the kids get to take home a SFG that they have planted. I'll attach a few photos. It is the highlight of my week and I plan to expand to some local schools where I had planter boxes set up before I retired. It will be an afterschool program because the teachers have no time for something like gardening. Really too bad.
