I thought you might enjoy reading a new take on shedding. This is from my farm blog.

I've always wanted to live on a farm and your place looks beautiful. Quincy sheds all of the things you mention along with his hair. :>) Bailey may not be a shedder but sure looks like she is a great shredder.

Great article and very cute!  Our Libby does not shed:)

Yes, along with spring comes grass cutting and with 8 paws coming and going all day long the amount of grass in the house just about equals the amount outside the house!

Great blog and so true!  I also have a non shedding shedder!

My two shed everything but fur/hair too.

Bo sheds his hair and all above mentioned items. :-)

Mine mostly just sheds fur ;)  The hairs on her legs are only about 1/2" long so she doesn't "gather" much stuff as she's out and about, except for on her tail (where I keep her hair at about 6" long.. it would be much longer!)

Her seasonal shedding is outrageous, though!  I can brush her with a shedding rake for a good 10 minutes... and the hair just keeps coming.  I could probably "clothe" a small dog with all the hair I get.

what a lovely farm. Banjo sheds and shreds......and we love him to bits!

Sheds and shreds....I love it. Too true. Thanks for the laugh.

Goldie doesn't shed... ANYTHING... In fact, I wish she would shed the mulch, grass, leaves, sticks, etc. that I have to daily dig out of her fur. It does the magnetism effect only it never reverses! Just yesterday I had to dig a 2 ft long stick out of her fur that had somehow gotten weaved in between her fur!

I enjoyed reading your blog.  Mine, especially shed paw dirt when they come in and two shed fur too.  But the cute factor does help.

Love the blog - I have a real thing for Llamas -

somebody referred to their doodle as 'an environmental collector' and we have adopted the term - - she is a big fan of catch and release. Moss, mulch, dried grass, all rolled up .... my son came over - after a while he asked what was up with the 'junk on the floor?' - ha a ha - I had to tell him it was four days of nice weather and the collector doing her job, I enjoyed the weather and ignored the house.
