We're having such a time with a name for our girl! Our other dog is Zoe. We picked Lila, but must be getting OLD...everything BUT Lila came out of our mouths...Zila, Zola, Lola, Lilly, Liza. Hubby and I realized "this isn't going to work!". We're not good at this! We would LOVE suggestions (and do hope to make her a therapy dog.)
Charlotte?
Clara?
Agnes?

Here is my main tip for if you are planning to do therapy work at nursing homes ... make it something easily understood by people who can't hear.  My little girl was Sophie and I thought that was so simple, but they had a terrible time understanding what I was saying.  I always said if I were going to have another she would be something really simple.  However, she is an Annabelle ... we shall see how that works.

Forgot to say that Clara was on my short list only it was Clara Belle.  Other names on my short list were

Beatrice (Aunt Bea)

Eloise

Harriet

Raleigh (DH is from Raleigh)

Eleanor

Tess

Ella

Elsie

We are apparently very like minded!

I had Beatrice, Eloise, Tessa, Ella all on my short list! (And AnnaBelle!) And everytime I "try out" Clara I find myself wanting to add Belle!

How about Ellie?

Ohhh I always loved the name Eloise!  It's going to be my future daughters name!

abbie

penny

starry

Elly

I love Lola too!  My Zoe was almost a Lola :)

Beasley.... that's it. I just like the name, and it's easy for all to say.

That is really cute Sheila!   Wasn't there a show where a little girl had a doll she called "Mrs. Beasley"?  You are probably way too young for that show!

I thought I responded to the Beasley name last night ... guess I didn't hit the Add Reply button.  Anyway yes, there was a show with the Doll's name Mrs. Beasley.  This is a name that I considered also.  It had Buffy and Jody and Mr. French.  Can't remember the name of it though.  I think I may have even had a Mrs. Beasley doll.

Maggie(my all time favorite name), Susie, JoJo, Buffy, Sadie, Carly, Nellie, Tillie, Libby and Sylvie, your little one is adorable, good luck!

When we thought our second doodle would be a girl, I finally came with with Masie. My DH wanted Maggie, but I just knew way too many other dogs with such name.

I agree you should pick an easy name. One of my dogs ( Tura) has a name that is impossible to remember but unique.  Not so great for the nursing home.  Dolly on the other hand is easy. Lilly is close to Lila and perhaps easier for an older population. Cute too.
