You are so right about naming a puppy being more difficult than many a child.  The pup's personality should offer some guidance in a possible name.  Is your pup a boy or girl and what is the pup's color?

So sorry!!! Boy! And he will be red, or a creamy beige depending on which one we choose!

I suspect when you first watch his puppy antics and hold him a name is going to come to you.  Just a few possible suggestions which would really depend on his color and personality:

Scooby, Rusty, Auggie, Barkley, Quincy, Scruffy, Dustin, Wigley, Bentley, Rolex

I agree, coming up with names for puppies is sooooo hard.  I like Charlie, Scrappy, Brodie, Dex, Koby and Jake.
