This is Libby she is an F2b! (above)

This little girl will be ours in two weeks! Her name is Libby and she is a standard F2b Goldendoodle. We can hardly wait :) My QUESTION, she is 6 weeks in this pic (taken yesterday) will her coat change or will she have more of a Golden Retriever look? Her mom and dad are both Goldendoodles, dad is an F1 and mom is an F1b. They both have stunning curly/ wavy hair. both parents are similar in color to her. What kind of changes will we have? Thanks so much!!

OMD, what a cutie! Of course her coat won't stay like this. It will keep changing her first year. She will definitely be a gorgeous fluffy girl, I see some ripples on her ears already and her nose is fuzzy as well. I can't wait to see her grow!

I'm new to this also but my "Dougie" had very few waves until recently.  He is still much less curly/wavy than his siblings.  The breeder told me that the "puppy coat" will continue to change as the adult coat comes in--usually between 8-12 mos.  No matter the coat, she is a cutie.

She will be adorable. And she will look totally different in two weeks and the weeks after that. They grow so fast. Make sure you take lots of pictures because it's fun to compare their looks and size as they grow. I used to take pictures of Auggie sitting on a kitchen chair every few months and then put them all together to see his progress.

Yes, she will be. She does not look flat coated at all, so no worries.

The little waves on the ears are a sign of lots more fluffness to come.  You will be amazed at how she will change over a short time. Looks very like Boris did as a baby.

She is a doll! You will be amazed at how quickly the coat will change. It's very unpredictable so even the best "coat experts" won't really be able to say for sure what will happen. I think they use the saying "Doodle coats are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get". It does look like she will be wavy. She won't be curly curly and she won't be flat so you'll get a nice in between coat but even in the 'in between' range there is so much diversity.

Regardless of how her coat turns out, she is going to be stunning. And her color is GORGEOUS!

Libby Lou! Libby Loodle doodle! Little bitty Libby! Libs! Libbers! I could go on and on. I love nicknames haha (if you can't tell by the name Goldie Noodle McDoodle).
Oh and if you use potty bells with her (which I highly recommend) you can call them "Liberty Bells" hehe
