I am just wondering if most doodles love water?  Millie is forever jumping in the kiddie pool.  She loves it.  Tonight she was in it, and was attempting to bite her tail w/  nearly her whole head going under.  Silly dog!

Would love to hear if your doodles love to swim as well!  I am hoping we can get her somewhere where she has a chance to really swim one of these days.

Monty swims like a fish!  He was hesitant in the beginning and would only sit on the steps of the pool, but once I got in and coaxed him....that was all it took.  Now he is always the first one in!  :)

We haven't gotten Finn in any body of water yet but he loves the rain and splashing in the puddles. Goes bananas, running around crazy.

Yes!  Lupin splashes around in her kiddie pool and tries to attack the pictures of fish on the bottom of it.  Its endlessly entertaining

We went to the river for Memorial day weekend and Auggie was just 10 days past his neuter, not supposed to have a bath.  I turned my back and Auggie had jumped in the river.  I am freaking out and he was absolutely loving it.  Silly puppy.  If there is water, he is in it. If I run the bathtub, even if it is not for him, he jumps in lol

That is hillarious!!!!

Same with Lola.  She might be part fish.  If I am getting the shower ready and I don't close the door, she will sometimes jump in.  She also likes to go into fountains off all kinds.  There is a little round one at the the dog park for dogs to drink out of - she gets her whole body in there and scoots around in a circle like it's a washing machine.

Shaggy jumped off the dock into the water when he was just 5-6 months old, he loves water, any kind - lake, pool, puddle, black slimy swamp.... Fozzie won't even put his toes in the water at a beach for a drink. Twice now I've caught him drinking out of someone's glass of water...silly doodle!!!!!!

We don't have a pool, and haven't taken them to any body of water - - so Casey has to settle on just the water dish. He "splashes" in there at least daily and will splash out up to two gallons of water. We had to move the water dish from the sunroom to the deck - and have to check it at least 3 -4 times a day because he may empty it in between!!

My Ollie loves the water, we have a pool and also a pond. I let him out the front door ,he does his business and books to the back yard straight in the pool , I swear he swims more than my kids ....he also loves baths and if I'm in the tub .... He jumps in with me . It's funny just to see him the only one in the pool doing laps ! Uploaded some pics hopefully I did it right.

Since my boys love the water so much, my neighbor suggested that I get a kiddie pool for them to play in.  However, since we have a doggie door - couldn't you just see that!!!  Last night, we had some horrible weather - hard blowing rain. The dachshunds all cuddled up in their bed  - - and the doodles? You guessed it - running around the backyard LOVING it. I called them to come in and they did - - soaked to the skin - - and of course, shook only after they got into the house.  Gotta love it :)  They finally dried, but are still muddy, so they will have a bath today.

Would post a picture - but can't figure out how to get it here - it just wants to put a link.
