Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

hi all ... just joined this group.  I have a Jubilee labradoodle - her name is lucy and she was born last June and baby of Winnie and WIlson.  LMK if any family members are on this :)  Also, quick question - it seems lucy has a sensitive belly.  We struggle with diarrhea a lot.  anyone else have similar issue?  I am thinking a food change is in order, so wondering if others have advise.  thanks!

Hi Brandy.  What food are you feeding Lucy?

Hi there.  Did you switch Lucy's food?  Sparty (Julibee Shelia and Wilson) is just starting to have some stomach sensitivities.  If you switched, what did you switch to?  Is it working?  Grace (Winnie's Mom), her tummy is weird too.  They are taking her to the vet today.

Hi, I own my Australian stud Jubilee Cooper from Jubilee, LOVE him, you need to put any doodle on Life's Abundance dog food, it is USDA governed and does not have all the yuk that upsets their tummy. I was caught up in the Diamond Food Plant salmonella nightmare last year and had it myself from handling the food.   I am a breeder and it is the only thing I feed and require my clients to feed as well. You might take a stool sample to the vet as well. Here is a link http://www.lifesabundance.com/LabradoodlePerfectDiet

Kelly Beene!! I love Cooper!! My Jubilee boy is bred closely to Cooper, I love his "look." Is he a sweet boy?

I took my boy off Life Adbundance and put him on Fromms. He was not happy so we have been back on Life Adbundance again. He's back to being himself. A lot of the food forums on here dislike Life's Adbundance, but my thought is...if the shoes fit and work for you, stick with it!

I say do what works, good old tried and true. When you are a breeder, the one thing you never want are tummy troubles, and I am a 35 year breeder and all my dogs, Jacks and Doodles are on it. I have NO issues as long as i stay on LA

Kelly, tell me about Cooper. What is he like? Is he outgoing? Hyper? Mellow? Intense? Laid back?

He is the sweetest boy ever!!!! he is calm

My Jubilee boy is bred really close to Cooper on both sides. He is a sweet boy and for the most part is calm, but he can be a little bossy, especially with other dogs. He's only ten months so I'm hoping he will outgrow this. I have always just loved Cooper and that whole litter. Nice to chat with you!!!

Just keep socializing him, I have Coopers son Snickerdoodle, and we are waiting by the hour for his first litter with my full Austr

Snicker doodle is breathtaking!! What a beautiful boy! Wow, I can't stop looking at his picture.
P.S. you think continual socialization will help with his bossiness?

Yes and if he does it distract him right away to something he likes. I love Snickers too, and he i
