Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This girl reminds me of some of our more wiry doods here on DK. They have her listed as a terrier mix, which I can see a little bit. In one of the pics, she reminds me of a wolfhound. So she really could be a lot of things, but her eyes remind me of Halas. And her story makes me sad. Our shelter is a no-kill shelter, so she's safe, and with that face, I'm sure she'll be adopted quickly. I just wanted to share, since she's so cute, doodle or not.

She does look a lot like a doodle, or maybe a standard schnoodle. Very cute, and her story is so sad. Thank Dog she's at TAPS, they have a first rate facility and their dogs are well-cared for until they are adopted, no matter how long that takes. I hope she finds her forever home soon.
She is so adorable! So sad her parents only took one of them back :( I would take her in an instant if I could
She really is cute...and there's something so sweet about her eyes. Karen, it's good to know that she's in a good place and being well cared for.
I sponsored a dog at TAPS a few years back. He was an older black Lab mix who was a little rough around the edges and was not going to get adopted on his looks alone. He had been there a long time. The shelter had a trainer work with him and after several months, he did finally get a home. The day I got the notice that he had been adopted, I cried. :-)
What a sad story and I pray she finds a wonderful, forever home!
She has such a sweet face. She looks a lot like a first generation labradoodle. Just finishing "A Dog's Journey" and she reminds me of Molly. Hope she finds a loving forever home this time.
My money is on doodle for sure! She looks like a labradoodle and she is extremely beautiful! I wish I could take her. She just gives off that "awesome dog" vibe. I wonder how the owners chose which one to reclaim. It sounds like it may end up being a blessing in disguise for Punky. I don't imagine the reclaiming fee would be that expensive. I would be selling everything I could think of to reclaim my dogs. Plus it says she hasn't had much training and she was picked up by animal control. It doesn't sound like she was living in the best home to begin with. I bet she gets adopted quickly.
If you hear of her finding her furever home, keep us posted. I'd love to hear her happy ending!
TAPS does have a nice facility. They used to be in a much smaller place, but several years ago, a husband and wife donated a big chunk of land and a lot of cash, so they moved and built a new building. They have room for more dogs and cats now. They even have a nice play and walking area. I hate to see any dog in a shelter, but at least I know these are getting good care.
I would take her in a minute if she were in my town. She's adorable and love the name!!
Gorgeous -oodle of whatever variety. My kind of doodle face =)
She has my Clancy's eyes. He was listed as a terrier mix at one of the shelters he was in. The reason some people should have only one dog is that they can afford only one dog. I am glad she is at such a good shelter. I'll hope she gets adopted quickly.
