Hi!

Tobey is from Jubilee, born 3/9/2013 of Zoey and Wilson.  I know it is a long shot, Is there anyone else from that litter here on DK?

Hi-

Certainly this might not apply to your puppy, and do not intend to alarm you as we think feel this is just part of having a young puppy, but I thought I would mention to you that our young Jubilee puppy Tobey has round worms  (he is now 16 weeks, ).  As instructed by Carla we did give Tobey the daily regimen that they sent us home with at 9-10 weeks, and we have followed Carla's advise (not sure if she recommended the same to you?) to check his stools when he goes to the vet for his puppy shot series.  His first stool check at 10 weeks was fine, but another check around 15 weeks came up positive.  Again, just thought I would mention as a head's up as it is worth knowing about sooner rather than later!

Hi Diane, I ran a stool sample over to the vet today and it was clear. Thank you for the heads up, better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks for letting me know. My guy is almost ten months and none of his stool samples have shown any worms, but...I will have it tested again just to make sure.

How's Tobey doing?

it is not worms, it is probably Giardia, or Coccidia, it is no problem, Have your vet run 7 days of albon, and 3 days of Panacur and you should be good to take care of all problems,

Oh and make sure they are not stool eaters, as this will cause this too

The lab reported toxocara sp canis OVA, present in moderate (11-30) qty. and unfortunately we had a visual, and they are not particularly difficult to identify.

My only simple point was to communicate to parents of young puppies to take your breeder seriously when she suggests to continuously test for worms.
