Constipated doodle!

Help! Nipa's 8 months old with a healthy appetite, dRinks plenty of water and excercise. She has to go and gets in the position and nothing. Will do this 2-3 times and nothing. Anyone else have this issue? Words of wisdom welcome!!!

Thank you all for the concern. Spoke to the vet last night and the throwing up miraculously stopped. Brought her in this am and it's a case of Colitis. She's on a bland diet of chicken and rice (meatball size) every 4 hours and so far so good. Thanks all!!!

I'm glad she's better. Did the vet have any ideas about what might have caused it?

At this point he's not too sure. He did a thorough check and said sometimes its the food. Might not be the right one for her. She's still very active and playful and NOT constipated. Slight temp but nothing he was too concerned with. The other possibility is she loves to eat grass. That combined with a new treat that was introduced to her at training class the other day could've resulted in the throwing up. Along with heat exhaustion. The weather in NJ has been brutal this past week so I only take her out very early in the am and then later in the evening and we only do a portion of our regular routine. Keeping a close eye on her. He wanted to hold off on X-rays for now, but if the vomiting should start again, he wants to see us right away. Can't say enough great things about our vet!

I am so glad ot hear your baby is ok.. The heat really takes a toll on our pups.. my baby threw up tons in her kennel last night.. I got her out washed her up and put her downstairs where it is cooler (I have air on even !)  I am also ... keeping my eye on her today...
