Wanted regal and pretty

This is what I got back. They even did this fox tail thing to her tail when I said do not trim her tail. I am buying a grooming table, dryer, and all the tools needed to learn and groom at home. Maybe to save time she can go get a bath and a brush out but I think hat may be the extent out outside grooming for sophie. The it will grow back in ad we can try again line came up. It took all my strength to not reach over with clippers shave a line down her head and say don't worry honey it will grow back. If you cant do what the customer wants be honest before you try to cut not after.

Charlie's had this haircut a few times, but by my choice (I love how he feels velvety, and is easy to brush/comb), and it grows back, but slowly enough where another grooming appointment isn't necessary for a couple of months.

I've started to groom him myself lately (he's "banned" from the groomer until the canine papilloma virus is gone), and it's been an interesting experience. His belly is, umm, hopefully going to grow out soon so that I can re-clipper it to all the appropriate length! Right now it's a bit patchy, but it's hard for anyone to see unless he's up on two legs.

and I'll keep him at 1.5 inches if I do the grooming!

Ugh, I am feeling your pain at this very moment. Chewy had to be cut close, but good Lord. Not what I was expecting. I love my groomer & know that she did her best, but the head close cut is what is getting me. I, like you, had pictures & a check-list. Which may seem a little neurotic, but I didn't want him to look like he does.

His coat changed later than most, & it was definitely matting in with the old hair. So, he did need a cut. It's just such a shock. Here's hoping they grow back in FAST!

Wow! This is exactly what just happened to me! I took my Charlie in for his first haircut a few days ago. He came out looking just like a poodle! All his doodle-ness is gone! I got in my car and just cried! So he will definitely not be going back to this groomer! I am going to attempt to do it myself from now on!

I am so sorry and even more nervous as I am taking Libby to the groomer for the first time on Saturday and am not really sure what I need to ask for, and tell them not to do. I have seen a goldendoodle the groomer did who looked great, but I don't know it they have the same hair, etc. and so any suggestions anyone has would be much appreciated.

I love her color and eyes . . .
