How are your doodles doing with the huge amount of unusual SNOW that we're getting in the Pacific Northwest right now?

Our guy loved the first few inches of snow last week but hates the now 1+ foot of snow that we now have. He keeps looking out the door quizzically when it's time for his potty walk. It's down to business and then right back in the house, no romping!

LOL-- I like your game of find the kibble! But mine can't even find toys with ropes attached in the snow :-)
last week I threw one of those long tennis balls with a rope attached and it got buried in the snow and they gave up after 10 seconds. Last night I go outside and find someone (I suspect my smarty-pants Thule)had managed to find and dig out the toy and it was now sitting close to the house.
Mine are enjoying it :-)
Rosco is hilarious about potty time though. When it comes to pee is basically peeing on our concrete walkway because if he doesn't want to have to walk belly high in the snow-- he's lazy. But when it comes to poop, he continues to traipse all the way to the back of the yard despite the belly high snow. It's quite funny to watch him!

Our other two don't seem to mind at all. We've taken them to a nearby fenced area that's twice as big as our yard for some romping and they had fun.
Oski loves the snow! He gets snow & ice in his hair so he looks like the Abominable Snowdoodle, LOL The bigger drifts just seem to tire him out on our romps but he loves bounding around in it & digs holes so he can shove his head in it :)

cute,cute,cute!

The pictures were taken at the very beginning of this lovely "snow situation" - it's so much deeper now! Our girls LOVE it to the point that we can't get them to come in. So we turn into the Christmas Grinch and make them come in - sometimes physically going out and picking Bella up. We have over 2.5 feet here at our home in Sherwood so more than once Bella has disappeared only to bounce and hop like a rabbit. The ice was something else - both dogs hate it but mostly Bella. Rozee is heavy enough that she has been able to break through (and then sink down 18+ inches) but Bella pretty much just steps and slides. Another reason we're trying to keep them in. And then there's the Snow-Ball-Coat! UCK!
Please do not be jealous! Take a look at Bella's coat - what a mess to clean up. Both dogs get snow/ice balls in between the pads of their feet (a dunk in luke-warm water takes care of those) and overall they can really be a pain to clean up. I know some owners just "let the dog take of it", but our girls end up making such a mess that's it's easier for everyone if we try to help them out. We've had over 2 feet so far and another 8-10 inches expected tomorrow. I want SUN!
Jordan was loving it...today the snow is kind of crusty, she walks on top and then sinks down. I do not think she is liking that sinking feeling.
She will still play and dig her head in the snow. I am all to ready for it melt away.
The snow is still happening full force in the Northern part of Washington - Milly is just loving the snow!
I know! It is snowing right now in Puyallup....We had 3inches on Friday but it all melted by the time I got home from work.
My girls love the snow. Went up Tiger Mt. Friday and there is still snow there, they were in heaven!
