Sand!

Does anyone have any suggestion on how best to get the sand out of our doodles' coats. The beach closest to our house has sand as fine as flour and we can't get it out! We are shampooing them after every trip to the beach and it's still not getting out. Help!

I remembered the warning and took the dogs out the back gate instead of through the house!

I am running into the same problem as well! We just moved to Carmel and they have the most wonderful off leash beach just 2 blocks from our house and Sam gets covered in sand everyday. I will check out getting some Show Sheen and see if that helps. When he is dry the sand just falls out of his coat, but our yard is not a great place to let me dry off, he would be a dirt ball by the end! It probably doesn't help that he digs and rolls in the dirt! When he is tired he lays on the beach and has the waves crash around him...such a silly doodle!
