Ok, looking for a new food for my doodle.  Mollie is 6 yrs old and 65 lbs.  She has sensitivities to almost everything.  Vaccines and especially the rabies are not good.  Last rabies, she had trouble breathing.  Anyhow, back to the digestive issues.  She used to vomit and have diarrhea until we found that grains were a problem.  We were feeding Blue Buffalo until I read that there was some problem with them.  I have been introducing her to Natural Balance because it has a single protein, but have now been told that's no good.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

ok, thanks.  we'll take back the natural balance and exchange for a different formula of the blue.

I would look at their Basics line, you still have limited ingredients with that. Very similar to the Natural Balance formulas, but with a much better macronutrient profile.

I'd also start giving her a couple of tablespoons of plain unflavored fatfree yogurt with each meal. The good bacteria in the yogurt help a lot with stool formation. You could also pick up a bottle of Gentle Digest capsules by Ark Naturals and give one of those each day as well. They've done wonders for a lot of dogs here, and very reasonable priced.

I've started with a probiotic, but she's had a problem in the past with dairy, so I think I'll pass on that.  She also has lots of bumps and scabs on her body.
