Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
As some of you know, my fancy corporate office gave way to a lifestyle change and a 3rd floor loft/studio close to home that I share with a couple of architects. We're dog friendly and Oscar is our resident (it takes a village) office doodle but FInn comes in a couple times a week to hang out. Oscar is one smart doodle and he quickly figured out from the time Finn was a pup that the best way to show FInney who's boss was to take the leash (short) and walk him around the studio LOL. Got this shot with my iphone yesterday when I found them together in the storage room. I think he's working on the stay command. Does anyone need a doodle trainer?

Oh how cute :)
Oh I see that Oscar is a very clever doodle! But Finn doesnt seem to mind and looks quite content. haha hello handsome doodles. working overtime???
A resident office doodle! What a lucky guy. Yes, doodles are great at training other dogs and make a great game of it. Enjoy your new office.
what kind of leash does Finney have?
Someone else asked me that a while back and I found the website for them but now I can't remember the name and it's rubbed off the leash. It's a cotton braided leash -- much like a lead rope for a horse. Love it! I have to stop by the store today --so I'll check.
It's a Mendota soft rope leash. You can order it on Amazon.
This picture is too sweet!
That is too adorable! You're so lucky. Total envy here! :)
This is hilarious. I have specifically been bringing Josie to daycare one day a week so she can learn how to play appropriately with other dogs. It seems to be working. Not only is she playing less frenetically, but she's EXHAUSTED for a day and a half after she spends the day there. Anyone with a puppy knows what a bonus that is :) I usually take her to work with me, so it's also a great break for me...
I am also interested in that leash, although Josie gets no more new leashes until she stops chewing them in half (other than the guaranteed Lupines).
That's so nice you can take Josie to work. I love having Finn there with me but he's older now so it's easier. I don't take coffee breaks, I take dog walks. When he's not there, Oscar will come visit and has recently taken to sleeping under my desk in Finn's bed. Oscar is over 100 lbs and Finn's only half that size so he doesn't fit all that well :)
LOL, this is adorable and hilarious!
Karen, Oscar is a cross between a golden doodle mother and a labrador retriever father! Now who thought that would be a good thing to do LOL He was the most impossible, incorrigible pup and his owner almost rehomed him at about a year old. Sound familiar? 3 of us (all women) said he's NOT going to Rescue, we're taking over his training -and we had the bruises to prove it. That's when he became the office dog -- so somebody had an eye on him at all times :) Now at 4, he's a super doodle and I just love him!
