Doodle is Constipated ;-(
Just wondering if anyone has any good tips to relieve constipation. Seamus has not had a bowel movement in over 48 hours. Im still feeding him boiled sweet potato and chicken after an earlier case of beach diarrhea. Thanks and Happy Labor Day!

Yes, we will try that again. Have been on 5 walks since 7am, but still nothing. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Have you tried canned pumpkin? That always helps Brinkley after giving it to him in spurts for a day? I also do notice that once Brinkley has had diarrhea, it's a few days before he has a normal bowel movement.

Sweet potato has about three times the amount of fiber as an equal amount of pumpkin, and it's much more nutritious. :)

You can stir a tablespoon of Metamucil into his mashed sweet potatoes at each meal. That should get results. :)

Karen- many thanks on the Metamucil tip. I gave it to him yesterday as you said and he did a poop at 11;30 that night. I wanted to dance right there!! Cheers!
