These shots are amazing.  Would you mind sharing info about the lens you used and camera settings? I am a novice and take every opportunity to learn :)

The camera was a Canon 1D Mark II N.  The lens was the Canon prime 400 mm / f5.6 L.  These are about 50% crops.

I shoot in AV mode.  I set my aperture at f7.1 to allow for good depth of field and its near the sweet spot for the lens (most are at f8).  My ISO was at 400 - this camera is not as good at higher ISO settings.  This allowed the shutter speed to be 1/1600th of a second.

I've posted before in this group...just not much.  I usually shoot eagles about once a year - I haven't had much time for backyard bird photography - the above shots are from my patio.

My favourite stuff to shoot is birds of prey - but I don't have much time for it any more.

Too bad--your photos are excellent.

Beautiful!

Thanks!

WOW!!!!!!! Gotta check it out! These are gorgeous Sandy!
Great.

Sandy, I'm glad that Denoise works for you. I love these shots!

Sandy, I don't remember as they send emails for specials and emails for webinars frequently (poor memory here). I do know that the price of $24.99 is a good price (I got the email too although I do have Adjust).

These are really awesome....especially love the last one.

Great shots, Sandy.
