Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Welcome to puppy madness! I think it would be a great idea to all post a little about yourself and your doodle. Photos are ALWAYS welcome.
Thinks you might want to share:
1) Your Name/Doodle Name
2) Location
3) Doodle type (goldendoodle/labradoodle; mini/standard; F1/F2)
4) Doodle age/weight
5) Photo
6) Anything else
Would also be great to come back here as your doodle ages to respond to your comment and post updates for age/weight/photos etc.

Hi I'm Erin, new here and not used to this type of format so not sure what I am doing!
Our soon to be puppy is an F1b standard golden doodle, mom is a cream F1 goldendoodle and dad is a black standard poodle (55lbs and 50lbs) He is currently 4 weeks old.
We have not decided on a name, Ollie or Leo are the top two choices.
We live in Maryland and this is my first dog since I was a kid and I've never had to train a puppy, a bit nervous!
Hello All from beautiful mile high Colorado Springs, CO. I am Marsha. a new puppy parent of Lilly, an 11 week old goldendoodle weighing about 9 lbs. She was the smallest and the most mellow in the litter. I chose her hoping that she would be manageable for this retired senior with plenty of time and the interest in training.
We are starting puppy obedience (an oxymoron?) next week. In the mean time, I'm just trying to wing it on my own, reading DK for some guidance. I have lots to learn.
What a cutie! I'll be curious to see how her coat turns out. My Auggie started out looking like your Lilly and then his coat got more wavy. Glad to see another doodle Mom from Colorado. We are in Denver. :-)
Hi there. My name is Krista and my husband and I just adopted a female Goldendoodle F1B puppy who we named Maggie. Maggie is now 9 weeks old and we've had her for one week. We live in Michigan and purchased from her a breeder in mid-Michigan. I took Maggie to the vet on Monday of this week for her second round of shots and she weighed in at 9lbs. She will be standard size and likely in the 60lb plus range once full grown. We also have a 4 year old Doberman Pointer Mix who we adopted through a rescue when she was 1 year old. We thought that our dog Chloe would enjoy having another dog to play with and I was itching to get another dog as well. :) I always loved the look of the Goldendoodle dog and loved the idea of owning a non-shedding dog. Cleaning up after one shedding dog is enough for me. I had also heard that Goldendoodle's have wonderful dispositions and are great family dogs. I know puppies are a lot of work but I didn't realize it would be THIS MUCH work. I feel like a sleep deprived new mother. I know this is temporary and trust that Maggie will be everything and more then I hoped she would be but we've really had our challenges this week. My main concern was her rough play with our older dog but after reading several posts from others who have experienced the same behavior, I feel much better. I hope to be able to contribute my advise and support and share my experiences with all of you and in turn look forward to seeking the same from you all. :)
our new baby , Jada is a mini labradoodle , she will be 5 month at the end of Sept .

This is a wonderful site and I'm very happy to fine it.
she is very cute. Take lots of pictures over the next 6 months to track the coat color change. Will be interested to see what color she ends up as.
