I'm not getting another dog ANYTIME soon.  So we'll put suspicions to rest there.

But since Breaking Bad is now over...and I'm having withdrawals,  (If you didn't watch all seasons you can not possibly understand ;-))  I was thinking about how 'pretty' the word for 'meth' sounds in Spanish.  It ends in -amina and I thought...hmmm...that would be an interesting name.  Oh no...maybe "Amino" would sound better.  But that doesn't sound like a kid's name...maybe ... a DOG!  Then I pondered the various parts of the word and found in the sounds... "FETA!!!!"

OMD isn't "Feta" a perfect name for a white doodle?  I'm in love with this idea!  Now it is here, in writing, so nobody can steal this name.  Okay?   Perhaps I can license it to you for use, but you'll have to agree to cease and desist use of this name for any doodle once my white doodle is born.

*If you haven't seen the show, you won't understand why I would even be pondering this.  I'm really not crazy or interested in illegal drugs, I promise you!

Honest Adina. I did know a dog named Feta. Being from large Greek family, of course I knew a white dog named Feta.  But, dont worry, from now on, it's yours.

I may be wrong as my Greek is poor, but I think, Feta, means Goat!

And, Feta Cheese is from Goat/Sheep's Milk

Love the name though. LOVE

Personally, you may be very sick from withdrawal OR watching Meth shows

Okay, I am wrong but languages have many different translations. Feta means 'Slice'

Well, I'm not crazy about "Feta", but it does fit my criteria of names ending in "A" or "O", and it does fit Laurie's criteria of names that are foods. :)

Would you pronounce it with a soft or hard "e" sound? Feh-ta or Fay-ta? Feh-ta sounds kind of like "fetish", lol.

I think up dog names all the time. The other day I thought of "Gumbo" and "Jello" (more food names).

Recently, when JD was getting his laser treatment, there was a cat in the underwater treadmill tank, the very first cat I've ever seen there getting any kind of treatment, and walking on a treadmill in the water, no less! The cat's name was "Deja". As in "deja vu".

Isn't that a great name for a dog? I love it!

My little sister went to school with a Deja. I love it!

I loved Breaking Bad! I binge-watched it this summer, and I got caught up with about 4 episodes to go. I'll miss it.

That's how we watched too.  Until this last season.  Clark couldn't help but pay each Monday to watch the previous day's show via Amazon.  It was worth it.  About the price of a movie, but spread out over several weeks :-)

Adina you have indeed gone over some edge. Amino of course immediately makes me think amino acid and not any dog should deal with such a name. I guess beauty is in the ear of the hearer cause Feta to me has no charm whatsoever but I guess it' one step better than naming a dog cottage cheese : ) If you are staking your fortunes on licensing that name you had better buy lottery tickets too.

It's NOT a pretty subject matter. It's not a show I would have probably ever started watching on my own if Clark hadn't decided that's what we would watch on Netflix one day.  I was hooked.  Despite the subject matter, it was extremely well done.  The level of suspense, character development, and plot was amazing.  I think I almost had a heart attack on a few episodes, but it was so intriguing.

LOL, I have to agree with you on this one, F!

Oh, and a friend of mine once had a schnoodle named "Matzoh". Another great food name!

I may be the only person in the western world who has never seen a single episode of Breaking Bad. :>) Your cheese name is safe with me.

No, Donna, I've never seen a single episode of it either. Not even a single minute.
