Doodle Energy

We have had dogs before but never a puppy (11 month old male) with so much energy.

He isn't a barker and isn't destructive or anything negative but active 14 hours  day and

loves to run and visit other dogs, all sizes and kinds.  What a big smile he has for

ever one and every thing.

Do your Doodles have all this energy and friendly attitude?

Enzo is very laid back. She loves all people and dogs, and yes, has a huge grin for everyone. The Staff and patrons at our local Starbucks call her the "Happy Doodle". But, like I said,extremely laid back. Every night ( we call the witching hr), it seems all the day's pent up energy erupts and she becomes Queen WhackaDoodle! Endless ball tosses and/or a swim in the pool tires her pretty quickly. Then, it's back to laid back/calm/ easy going puppy , until the next evening.

Thanks Bentley is now King WackaDoodle!  At least in the mornings he is usually relaxed and cuddly

but for those witching hours, King WackaDoodle.

Puppyhood with Libby was a challenge.  Lots of chewing, digging up plants, putting everything in her mouth and at times we wondered what "did we do"?  With lots of training, training and more training and constantly on top of things with her, we noticed a big change between 12 mos. to 18 mos.  All of a sudden puppyhood was gone.  Now she is very mellow, laid back and just goes with the flow of our lifestyle, which is retired!  She takes her her two mile walk with us every day and does not let us forget it!  LOL  There are moments when she does her barking "thing" to let us know someone is approaching the house, but other than that she is definitely a very good Doodle!

Meg is high energy unless it is hot, then she is just like me...looking for ac to chill out.
