Hey everyone! Maggie is doing wonderful and has meshed well with our pack and added a whole new dynamic to our lives, we love it! Her and Jace are doing well.. But I guess I don't know what's acceptable play and what isn't and how to correct any wrong play! He will sometimes just tackle her down and won't even let her walk.. It's a little annoying. And he also does this thing where he puts his entire mouth on her, he doesn't clamp down...he just leaves it there sometimes she'll squeal and he'll back off.. Now she will cuddle with him or lick him or sometimes she will bite at his beard and ears.. Is that normal play? What should I correct? When does it go too far? Also we haven't had any loose stool or digestive problems. I've started transitioning her food and adding pumpkin or Greek yogurt.. No problems at all... Am I missing something? It always seems that new puppies have digestive problems.. Like its inevitable. Am I just lucky? Also what's a good dewormer. She'll be 10 weeks on Sunday and I know you're supposed to do it at 6,8,10,12..

Ps. Here's some pictures to show her off:)

Adorable!

Adorable!  My guys bite and tumble, too, but they are the same size so I am not quite as concerned about one overpowering the other. They seem to know their size because even though they try to play with the dachshunds, they don't tend to get rough with them. Of course, the dachshunds will growl and bite them if they do get rough. When that happens, Casey just walks away with an "well - if that's the way you feel about it!!!" attitude, while Cody looks like they have hurt his feelings.  They are SO funny!  We do watch them carefully when they are starting to roughhouse because they do really get rowdy sometimes.  I typically just tell them "Take it outside, boys" and lately - when I say that, they stop playing in the house and do go outside to continue the roughhousing.  They have begun to catch on that they can't tumble inside. Wish my 2-legged critters would have caught on to that as quickly when they were little. :)
