He only responds to the siren from the fire (ladder) truck.  Ambulances are okay, so are police cars, it is only that one fire truck.  My DH (a now retired police officer) has a theory...you see the police and the fire fighters have always had a friendly (sorta) rivalry...he says Gavin knows the difference and is just letting them know what's what!

Awesome!!! Woke Chase up! Hartley used to howl as a puppy when he was left alone, and he occasionally howls now when he wants something. I've never heard Chase howl.

Thanks Stella - I wonder if Gavin howls because the frequency of the noise hurts his ears.  I hope not though.

Oh my!! What else is really funny is Sawyer jumped up on the coach next to me while I was playing your video, and every time Gavin howled, Sawyer cocked his head to the side like "what the heck is that??", he studied my iPad very carefully and waited for the next howl!! Soo cute!
