Thanksgiving warning....

Seamus and I went to Pet Therapy class this morning and the last thing we talked about was keeping an eye on our dogs during Thanksgiving. Make sure the garbage cans are closed, don't let guests feed your dog scraps or turkey bones. Friday is a big day for emergency room visits at the vets office.  Im keeping Seamus in his crate or tethered. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanks for the reminder! I didn't know about the risks of feeding dogs high-fat scraps until I read it on DK! I've heard that there is always an increase in vet appts. after Thanksgiving because of people feeding their dogs fatty scraps. I didn't know about nutmeg until I read it today.
