Started to umbilical cord Oscar today. I seem to be always tripping over Oscar (6months), he always likes to be right in the way. So I thought that umbilical cord training would teach him to follow instead of lead.

Day 1, spent an hour indoors just walking about, up and down stairs, while doing daily household activities. The only real resistance I encountered with him was going upstairs. Going downstairs I had to teach him to avoid my feet cause he likes to run right in front and stop, checking behind like "hey you coming!"

Overall I think this will be great for him :) Anyone else done this training method and had great success?

Yes, we have done this and I strongly recommend it.  I will stay tuned to see how it goes.  There were times even in his adult life when Gavin would get a bit full of himself (forget his name for example) and a couple of days of refresher and he would fall back in line.
