Has anyone been able to get one in the last few months?  If so, where?????   I put in an order back in August, got a email saying they were shutting down and moving locations (actually starting to manufacture here in the US) and that they hoped to be back up and running around Christmas.

I just looked and saw that Kemp Raider's store doodlecountry.com is out of them. Many of us got ours from him. I checked out Ebay.com and they have some.

Thanks Bonnie:  I'll go have a look see.  The last time I looked someone was selling knockoffs and I wasn't willing to take the chance.

I have a Facebook friend who works for the company and she confirmed unless you get lucky and find one still on the shelves somewhere, there are none. I have heard through the rumor mill the company is having some internal strife involving the family that owns it. I think their story is just that the brushes were temporarily discontinued due to a factory move of something like that but it sounds like the truth may be that they are having problems and for all anyone knows they might never come back. This is just unconfirmed rumor from an insider so take it for what it's worth. I don't feel bad telling you because they accepted my credit card payment on their website for two brushes that did not exist and wouldn't even respnd when I tried to email and call.

Did you not file a credit card dispute?

Thanks Jay. ( I think ). I do remember you telling me this. I did order mine directly from the company and they were nice enough to let me know they were shutting down. They never dinked my CC, but then again, I gave them a virtual credit card. In fact, I had to tell them , if and when, they restock, I'd have to issue another CC #. They did respond back and forth to me a number of times. Hope you got your order sorted out satisfactorily.

I eventually wound up getting a small purple from Kim at Manor Lake Labradoodles, on the excellent referral by Oliver and Elizabeth.  However that took a long time as well, there were some issues and back and forth of a wrong and incomplete order, and the brush I finally got seemed to be in new condition but not in the original packaging.  Nevertheless they were very nice and responsive in getting it sorted out and I have nothing but good things to say about them.  My dream would be to one day own a large purple but I figured coming out of all that with a small purple and an extra small green was not a bad result.

I forget the details. I think they may have fixed the credit card charge but never told me why or that it wasn't coming. I had confirmation email saying my order was processed and I would receive it within so many business days. When I didn't recieve it I tried several times to context them to and no one would respond. Now that I think about it I don't know that I ever checked the credit card charge. Oops. Sorry for the iPhone typos

I actually picked up my first Les Poochs in Rockland County NY where they had a warehouse or factory site and office. Then I got the next discounted through a group buy on a poodle site, but there were huge delays with the order and this was a few years ago. The website still appears to be accepting orders : (

*sigh*. None of this sounds very encouraging.

Ro, there is a knock-off that would be a good substitute for you. It is MGT slicker and cheap.  It is NOT really as good as the LesPouchs but it works. Use the dk Amazon link and put MGT slicker brush in the pet supply section.  They are only one-sidedly useful but they are flexible and not very expensive.

Thanks Nancy! I just ordered one....the large, double sided. Cheap enough...if the Les Pooches comes through, I can always order that too. A girl can never have too many brushes ;)

the furminator slicker brush isn't bad, in my opinion.  It's got some kind of special weighting to it.
